The European Parliament and the Council agree on the revision of the EGTC Regulation

"More simplification, legal certainty and flexibility in the application of the rules", are the main features of the revised EGTC Regulation according to Mr Joachim Zeller (DE/EPP), rapporteur in the European Parliament, who announced in the Committee of Regional Development (REGI) that the co-legislators have agreed on the revised EGTC Regulation.

The last meeting or informal 'trilogue' between the institutions took place on 27 May in Brussels. The services of the Committee of the Regions were invited as observers.
