Next sitting of the Polish-Slovak Commission on European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation

On 24 January 2012, the Polish-Slovak Commisson on the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation held another meeting in Nowy Targ. During the session, the members of the Commission agreed upon a final draft of the Convention establishing an EGTC. The Convention is a result of months of work, during which indepth consultation and discussions, exchange of experiences and analysis have been performed. The Commission also outlined the conception and schedule for works on the EGTC's statutes. Further operations within the networking project From Euroregion Tatry to a European Gropuping of Territorial Cooperation have been discusses.

A nice touch were the congratulations and best wishes on fiftieth birthday for Mr Bogusław Waksmundzki, Chair of the Council of Euroregion "Tatry" and Co-Chair of the Commission on EGTC from the present members of the Commission, the Director and the personel of the offices in Nowy Targ and Kezmarok.
