Presentation of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TATRY

On 27th March 2013 in Racibórz the Polish-Czech working group on EGTC set up by Euroregion Silesia  held its 2md meeting. The session was also attended by the representatives of Euroregion "Tatry": Mr Bogusław Waksmundzki, Chair of the Council and Mr Antoni Nowak, Director.  At the meeting they outlined the progress made in establishing a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TATRY, which entered its closing stage. It is going to be the first EGTC established at Polish border by euroregion.

Members of the Polish-Czech working group had an opportunity to acquaing themselves with the content of the Convention and the Statutes of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TATRY as well as the key organizational arrangemens made by the founding partners of the grouping. Attendees discussed the problems that occured while setting up the EGTCs and the challenges and expectations in connection with the groupings' operation and activites in the new 2014-2020 programming period.
