The representatives of Polish euroregions met with Ms Elżbieta Bieńskowska, Minister of Regional Development and Mr Adam Zdziebło, Secretary of State at the meeting organized on 19 December 2012 in Warsaw.  One of the main topics discussed at the meeting was the role of euroregions in cross-border programmes carried out under the European Territorial Cooperation objective in the future programming period 2014-2020. The Euroregion "Tatry" Association was represented by Mr Bogusław Waksmundzki, Chair of the Council and Mr Antoni Nowak, Director of Euroregion "Tatry". Other points raised during the meeting concerned the progress in the implementation of the Small Projects Fund of the current Cross-border Cooperation Operational Programmes and the general guidelines on the implementation of programmes in the years 2014-2020. During the meeting there were discussed also the issues related to the progress on the adoption of the legislative package on the cohesion policy for the period of 2014-2020 and the use of European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation for the purpose of the implementation of cross-border cooperation programmes. The works on establishing the EGTC TATRY have entered the final stage.
